This Holiday Bone-Anza festival is to raise funds for a much needed dog park in East Long Beach and to foster the community support necessary to turn this dream into a reality.
While the immediate goal of Friends of El Dorado Dog Park is to raise funds to create, maintain and improve a spacious off-leash dog park in El Dorado Regional Park, we hope, in addition, to make this park more than just a field of fenced grass and trees.
El Dorado Dog Park will not only provide off-leash playtime for dogs and their owners, but will also be a place to encourage responsible pet ownership and to build community awareness of animal welfare issues through classes and special events.
