will be a 1.6 acre parcel, located in El Dorado Regional Park adjacent SPCLA. The planned site will have shade trees as well as grassy areas, with parking and a restroom nearby. Current plans for the dog park include separate areas for small and large dogs, two double-gated entrances, drinking fountains for the dogs and humans, doggy waste bags, and fun activity equipment. This project is a joint effort between the community, the Friends of El Dorado Dog Park and the Long Beach Parks & Recreation and will be funded by corporate, public and private donations.
